How to list a Construction Job or Project

Ø Click on the link for Projects/Job listings and click on the hard hat to list a Job/Project

Ø Select a main category for your item

Ø Select an additional category if needed

Ø Fill in all required fields

Ø List item details

Ø Click “proceed” to finalize your listing

Ø An auction # will be provided and your listing will be activated

How to list Construction Materials and Supplies

Ø Click on the Supplies/Materials link and click on the hard hat to list supplies/materials

Ø Select the main category for your item

Ø Select an additional category if needed (optional)

Ø Give details for your listed item

Ø Enter information for settings do not use commas or $ signs

Ø Enter shipping and payment information

Ø Review all details for item(s)

Ø Read terms and conditions and finalize your listing

Ø An auction # will be provided and your listing will be activated

Does Auction Contractors offer a free trial?

Yes, we offer a free three-month trial

How do I activate my account?

To activate your account you would need to go into the email account you registered with Auction Contractors

There will be an email from support@auctioncontractors.com you will click on the link that says “click here” in order to activate your account.

If you don't locate this email in your inbox make sure to check your Junk Mail box, sometimes this email ends up there

What if I don’t receive the email conformation?

Be sure to double check the email address you provided during registration

Check any spam or trash folders for email conformation

How do I log in?

Go to the home page and enter in your username and password provided during registration

First you would need to register and become a member with Auction Contractors, this allows you to place bids and view other bids

What is the member area?

This area is your personal dedicated area to view your bids, receive and send messages, create personal alarms/emails, calculator and other tools for personal account use

What is email notification?

Email notification is a tool that allows users to create a notification alert when certain jobs, items get listed in their area. Our system automatically will generate an email and will send it to your email box when item or job get listed in your selected state or city

Can I share my account?

No, it is against Auction Contractors policy for users to share account information.

How many items may I list?

There’s not a limit as to how many items you could list

What is the “Bulk” icon?

You can download Bulk software and use for multiple listings. This is most useful for Suppliers that would like to list tens or hundreds of items on their inventory by a single click and uploading the Bulk List
For instruction on how to use the Bulk Loader visit the Bulk icon and read the instruction or call customer support line

What is the “My Store” icon?

All registered users have ability to create their own store on AuctionContractors site and list items or services for sell. "My store" is the link to personalize your store with your logo, describe your services and list your items for sell.

What is the promotional code?

This code is provided by a sales representative from auction contractors to Tools and Material suppliers to keep track of their whole sell items

May I include photographs with my listings?

Yes, we welcome you use photos for your listings with no additional cost.

What is the fee for listing an item(s)?

At AuctionContractors listing items for sell or auction is Free

What is a Dutch listing?

A quantity of this type of item is accepted for selling. This option used when user has quantity of same item and would like to list them all at the same time for auction.

What is a Standard listing?

Only one of this type of item is accepted for selling for each listing.

What is the Reserve price?

This is the lowest price at which, you are willing to sale your item. All bids lower then reserve price will be rejected by our system.

What is Buyout price

This is the listing price for an item. There is no bidding process for this type of listing.

Do I need to have a bid increment

No, you are free to use the proportional bidding increment system implemented on our site or you are free to use a custom fixed bid increment value.

Do I have to pay for item features

No, to include item features is free of charge.

How long are listings posted on the website

The duration of your listings are optional, you could have listings posted as long as 90 days!

What is auto re-list?

You have the option of selecting your item to be listed again after auction is closed and your item still not sold

Who pays for the shipping cost?

This is optional you or the buyer would be responsible for the shipping cost.

Do I need insurance for an item

No, having insurance for your item(s) is optional

Do I need to provide a job location?

Yes, if you want local contractors in your city to know. However you are not obligated to list your full address. You can only list “State” and “City” or “Zip Code” to give general idea where is your job location.

What is the fee for listing a project(s)?

There is no Fee for Listing Job/Project. It is Free

How many projects may I list?

There’s not a limit as to how many projects you can list

Am I obligated to sell to the lowest bidder?

No, it is your choice to which contractor you would like to award your project based on the information they submit to you.

What is the fee after the product has been sold?

Please refer to the Fee page on our website.

Who do I pay for the project?

You would pay the contractor directly upon completion of job or during based on your agreement with contractor of choice.
